Apple recall AC adapters

Apple today announced the recall of a variety of AC adapters which are shocking users. The adapters in question are for iOS devices and where also included in the ‘Apple World Travel Adapter Kit’

Between 2003 and 2015 Apple sold 10-watt AC adapters in Argentina, Brazil, Europe, New Zealand and South Korea. The effected adapters have a four or five character, or even no character, code on the inside slot where the plug part attaches.

It is worth noting to readers that the recall is voluntary and is not forced, indicating that while there is a problem, it shouldn’t be life threatening.
